I had loose motions this morning, but I am better now. Should I eat more calories when I am sick or less.
I had a lot of dahi, dal and chawal today.

I hope that by the time you receive this, you would have completely recovered from the loose motions.

Now, coming to your question, when you are feeling sick with an upset tummy you shouldn't worry about counting calories as much as keeping your body well hydrated.

Loose motions make your body lose essential water and salts. "Hydrated" means drinking lots and lots of water, clear juices, and soups and gatorade which has something called electrolytes in it. (Ok, that's a tough word, so why don't you look it up in your dictionary and have fun searching!)

I am glad your mommy gave you dal, chawal and dahi as they are soothing and nourishing for your body.

Also, please avoid eating outside foods when you have a bout of loose motions. They may cause you more trouble!!
