Dear Mrs. Padmashri,
I have not written to you for a long time. How are you?

I have two questions.
1.How much nutrition does an avocado have?
2.How many seeds does a banana have?
Thank you,
Raman.

Dear Raman,

It is a delight answering your nutrition-related queries. Infact, I too have missed your questions during this long break.

Coming to your queries:

Ans.1. Avocado is a yummy, nutritious fruit that is high in calories as compared to other fruits. (It gives 160 calories per 100 g as compared to other fruits giving about 50-75 calories per 100 g)

Quick trivia: Did you know that Avocado trees are native to Mexico? That's why Guacamole is so famous as a spicy dip, OLE!!!

Now, each avocado gives 15 g of fats of which only 2 g is saturated (the 'bad' fat).
It has no 'heart-damaging' cholesterol, Phew!!.
The star nutrients in this fruit are fiber, Vitamin C, K & Folic acid.

Ans. 2. Hmmm... so you want to know how many seeds there are, in a banana?

Well, I really, really don't know as I don't think anyone has tried to count them. But what I do know is that... .it also is a nutritious & filling fruit.
It is loaded with potassium, fiber, manganese & vitamin B6.

So go ahead & include these two fruits in your diet & stay healthy.
And Raman, keep your questions coming...

Bye for now

Sincerely,

Mrs. Padmashri Shanmugaraj
