Isoflavones (especially genistein and daidzein) present in soy products have been reported to have cardio protective benefits including a reduction in LDL cholesterol. However, it is still controversial whether products containing isolated soy isoflavones have same effects as dietary intake of soy protein.
Question: Are Soy's basic inherent Nutritional benefits enough to warrant increased consumption?
