Exercise Can Reverse CVD As Well as Prevent It
Cardiac patients do not exercise based on the premise that it will strain the heart. Studies have now clearly established that regular moderate exercise can actually reverse damages caused by existing heart condition leave alone prevent heart diseases. Here four independent studies have concurrently brought out the benefits of exercise, aerobic in nature and long term to benefit heart health
According to a number of studies presented, under the aegis of European Society of 2010 Cardiology Congress in Stockholm, Sweden, a program called `Exercise: From leisure activity to a therapeutic option' conducted by The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NUST) Trondheim Identified that heart patients benefited by working on their peak oxygen consumption similar to interval training.
