Important Note - Are all coconut oils available the same?
The one thing that all scientists agree on, is that coconut oil when hydrogenated, creates trans fats, which are known to cause heart disease because they increase LDL cholesterol and reduce HDL levels.
It’s best to use unrefined coconut oils as when its in its fresh uncooked form and avoid the mass produced hydrogenated varieties.
Most commercial coconut oils are refined, bleached and deodorized and contain chemicals used in processing.
